The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) is an international collaboration,
which is currently in its fourth phase as SDSS-IV.
I participated as a student in the first phases of the SDSS, working
in the production of photometric redshift catalogs for the data releases
4, 5 and 6 of the survey. These have been used extensively by
researchers throughout the world.
I am now a member of the SDSS-IV via the Brazilian Participation Group (BPG),
working mainly in the eBOSS survey,
with interests in studies of large-scale structure. I am also
a member of the Collaboration Council of the SDSS-IV.
The SDSS-IV offers ground-breaking research oppportunities in various areas
of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Cosmology.
